I’m definitely the saver. My husband is a combination of the Hippie/Monk and the Gambler. While I always look out for bargains in supermarkets, he often picks products he likes without looking at prices. This puzzles me as I thought it would be more natural if he turned out to be the Saver like his mum, considering his poor background. I need to dig out our current belief systems around money and consider how they have been passed down generationally, and how our personal experiences influenced us.
My 9 year old son is the Saver too but my 5 year old daughter is the Spender. They were raised in a same household but their money personality types are very different.
I came to realise their money personality types through “time tickets,” which I introduced during the lockdown to limit their screen time (see the cartoon below) 😆

Hi Naomi, where are you in the UK? I live in the north east of England. It would be lovely to meet up sometime!

Hi Julia, I’d be interested! I’ve been interested in public speaking and I have done a few. But every time I give a talk, I’m so nervous and scared!! Here’s my email address:

Thank you Thérèse. I understand it’s tricky to have a session during the week as everyone has a different schedule. Where in Europe are you visiting?
-
I can do 7pm or 8pm BST (2pm or 3pm EDT) during the weekdays too.
-
7am or 8am BST (2am or 3am EDT) works best for me on a Sunday morning. But please don’t stay up because of me. It’s too late for you!

Hi Thérèse, I’m usually not available neither Sat/Sun at 7am or 8am EDT. Early morning on Sundays would work the best for me but I know this isn’t good time for you. I’m happy to watch recordings afterwards. If presenters aren’t available for the meetings, I think presenting a recording may be a good option.

The topic sounds so interesting! But unfortunately it’s a bit too late for me to join as I work on Saturdays from early morning and usually hit the bed quite early. I hope the meeting will go well!

You are welcome, Gina! Doo itashimashite! (this is the hard one to pronounce!)
-
Thanks Julia! Hope you’ll enjoy learning Japanese with my children’s book characters as well as my kids!

@sue-m Glad to hear they are helpful! I’m planning to make more videos. If you have any topics you’d like to see, please let me know!
