I am experiencing a difficult situation, I have some family in need and I just don’t feel comfortable, safe, secure, or able to help with the gift of money. I want to allow for the flow, give to receive, but I am so afraid that I will run out of money and not be able to meet my own responsibilities. I want to get out of this cycle of guilt, fear, and lack and I am struggling with first, acknowledging and settling my fears, second allowing myself the choice and being ok with the fact that I am not there yet, not feeling safe enough to give. It is a lack of trust I am trying to build and it just feels so blocked, and then I am afraid that if I don’t just give I won’t allow the flow and I won’t we welcoming money, and I am back to feel scared to give because I don’t trust there will be more coming in….ugh!

I’m in about the middle of the course and I too have had some revelations. I agree with your definition of abundance, mine was quite similar. What struck me was the question “do you trust life?” and the realization that the question was very difficult to answer. I’m learning, but for so many years, most of my life, the concept wasn’t even presented to me, which makes me a little sad, not knowing that the universe was on my side all along. Thank you for this discussion group I’m looking forward to sharing and learning more.

My husband @xperientialed has a mantra, an intention that he repeats on a regular basis “Money is my ever-present cofacilitator”. I do love looking at money as the grandest friend you could ever have, the one that lifts you up, takes care of you, and helps you to create miracles while taking care of others, too. Great discussion thread, Viola, this will be a regular reminder for us on how we can welcome the energy of money.

Fantastic stories so far, brings to mind some fortunate experiences I’ve had. Years ago I was on a touring vacation to Niagara Falls and it was brutally hot, high 90s and we were all baking in the sun. There was a group of travelers from China and one of the young women had this beautiful parasol covered in sequins, it was gorgeous. They barely spoke English but I was able to get across how lovely her parasol was and as they stepped away one of her friends insisted that she give it to me. I tried to turn them down but they were certain I should have it. And although not a dramatically the abundance of beauty and giving and sharing and connecting across the world was truly extraordinary, I still have that parasol and use it on hot sunny days. I will post more stories soon. #arigatoliving

I’m very interested to learn more about how others are exploring the emotions that money provokes. My intention is to be honest and open about the fear, shame, guilt, and neglect I have experienced with money, and change those emotions too feelings of security, connection, and gratitude. I spent most of my life looking at money and seeing this wonderful, powerful, beautiful thing that was never mine, or never meant for me, so I never welcomed it, I just always longed for it. Now I know I must connect with the energy that is money and treat money like a valued and trusted friend.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to be happy now, without making the presence of money the reason for my happiness, I would be thrilled to talk about it.

I am very excited about this first meeting! I received an email about the meeting that stated the start time as 5:30 Pacific, and here I see 5 PM Pacific. I want to make sure I’m right on time, if you could confirm the start time I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I have recently realized a true passion, creating connections to nature to improve our well-being. In 2016 I founded a nonprofit, in Chicago, that educates on this mission and offers guidance to communities to build their own nature spaces for community health and strength.

We have volunteers that exchange all of their wonderful hard work for knowledge and plants and opportunities to connect with nature. We also host interns through a program that offers them a stipend, they learn a lot, get work experience, in the garden and with a variety of other opportunities like community outreach and website development.

If anyone is in the Chicagoland area I would be so very thrilled to welcome you to our nature space, to take advantage of some of the extraordinary experience here.

I will share our nature space with everyone with images throughout the seasons.

Thanks for responding! I am having trouble leaving comments on the Arigato Living Community Group posts. I can comment on posts in my own timeline but not ones in the group. Is this by design or is it on my end?

What you said about truly believing is the key, that is the trust, that is the happiness of knowing without the actual having that I’m working toward. I believe that’s the peace and security that then brings peace and security. Thank you for sharing, it’s amazing to see how open people are and it encourages me to keep learning and keep growing.

Would love to talk with you more about your journey and hobbies. We share a nature space with our community with a mission to bring nature connections and all the associated benefits to communities in need. I am sure we have much to share.

These images are fantastic! I am really proud of what we have created. @Ed make sure to tag your images with #arigatoliving so they make it to the collage. I included one you took of Hunter (our community Cat at Work) to see if it makes it to the collage.
