I love this, Arzu! I love to read and have read a number of books that have had a profound impact on me. I’ll have to reflect a bit to maybe give a short list. And look forward to learning about new books from others’!

Yes! Inviting a welcome guest is such a wonderful image and energy with which to relate to money! It helps create space and allow a coming/going, without holding onto, yet not rejecting or resisting money, because it is invited.

I invite money to spend time with me as a welcome guest. And I am grateful for the time we have together, and for it moving on to spend time visiting the next person on its traveling adventure!

I’m so glad you shared this, Yuxing! Byron Katie’s work has been SOOOOO helpful for me over the years! Sometimes, it can be really helpful to watch/listen to her facilitation the Work with someone. There are lots of videos on her YouTube channel, and you can search for issues you’re dealing with (ex. Byron Katie the work money), relationships, jealousy… whatever the situation or judgment may be, and there is probably a video with her facilitating or speaking to the issue. I have found that simply being in that space as she leads someone else through it can be really powerful and transformative!

Also, if you get stuck and need a bit of help going through the process, there are worksheets and lots of info on her website, as well as a FREE facilitation service of volunteer trained facilitators all over the world in different time zones. Simply go to her website, search for the facilitation, and you can connect with someone.

Sometimes, things can be so big, when we’re in it, that having someone hold the space and lead us through the process provides a profound experience, while learning better how to facilitate for ourselves. I have used this service at times, and it was beautiful, profound and connecting with someone at this depth of being, life-altering.

I highly highly recommend! Loving What Is. I Need Your Love; Is It True? . A Thousand Names for Joy. All excellent.

    Arigato!

Thank you, Sue! Every day is an adventure if we are open to it! And the most unexpected things can happen, I’m finding, as trust builds, and I open more and more to the synchronicities and messages available to any of us on our path. Everything truly is to support us. How I find myself here with you all. Arigato!

I feel I have been in this process for a while, and am currently in the 5th step of packaging to present them in an appealing way. It’s helpful to have it spoken about in such a defined way. Thank you, Michiko!

I am actually in a business program that started with a weekend of “Live Your Life’s Work”… and it’s basically, what your journey has been, informs who you work with– their struggles were your struggles, etc.

And I have been going through the process of releasing the patterns of “you need to work hard to make money.” It was difficult to allow that there can be joy and ease! The things I love to do and are so natural, generally haven’t felt like I “should” be paid for them. Or it didn’t even occur to me that they could be paid for, or not everyone has the same ease with those talents/gifts/etc.

It’s fascinating to see in myself and move through it. This past year, it’s shifted to… “oh my gosh! I get to do these things that feel so easy and natural and fill me with joy… AND get paid?! Yay!” lol. So, I’ve been working on shifting my relationship to it from disbelief/surprise to “Yay! Joy! Of COURSE, I do!” And moving towards integrating a valuing of what I offer/share, and receiving value for it in the world.

There really is something to the saying, “You won’t work a day in your life if you do what you enjoy!” Referring not to the doing, but to the quality of being you experience as you are doing and sharing. 💞

And, work in progress over here 🙂

Oh beautiful, Sue! I love the descriptions and reflections you share! Yes- the oneness!

I love the ocean, too, and am on the coast of Maine. The lakes and the ocean have such different energies and qualities. I find them invigorating and cleansing in different ways. Until I lived here, I had always gravitated more towards bodies of saltwater and sought those out. Now, especially since the ocean is so cold up here even in the summer, I find myself seeking the lakes, so I can go into the water fully and swim and float and enjoy in a different way. With the ocean, I love the expansiveness and the changing rhythm and mood of the waves, and the experience of the salt, the diamond sparkles of the sun. So I often sit by it, or maybe go in the water up to my knees. With the lakes, there’s a different kind of magic and majesty. Between the trees, the landscape, and fully immersing myself (in the summer.) Swimming and floating.

Also, I love visioning connection with all bodies of water, when I am in water. I have been an aquatic therapist, and it’s a profound experience to connect with the water in all the oceans, and all the water everywhere. I lived in the desert of Tucson, Arizona for years, and am definitely a water person! I found visualizing connecting with the ocean, maybe even some of the ocean life, really helped me stay connected to water and the experience of water. And we can also do this when we’re in the bathtub! Also, Tucson has the magnificent monsoon season. So water arrived in exciting storms, and would create rivers where there had been none, which I have not experienced anywhere else in the US.

I look forward to hearing about your lake adventures as you move inland! To finding beauty and connection in new experiences of water of your new landscape!

And I am so glad to hear they helped you shift into being more grounded and rejuvenated, Julia!

I’ll be looking for this group/discussion, as well!

I love to explore healthy foods and have fun cooking and learning about foods from around the world. And then creating fun fusion dishes! More vegetarian than not. I was also a certified health coach, focusing on lifestyle, healing foods, simple living for wellbeing. And I worked in a health food store for years, and loved trying out new food items and ingredients.

Healthy Food Adventures are so much fun! Especially with friends 🙂

Such a great idea, Akino! And I’m excited to check out your cooking videos, and share them with friends I know will enjoy them, too.

@chikatita Love this! And yes- Sakura! We learned the song in school, and were taught a dance to accompany. I have dreamed of climbing Mt Fuji and seeing the cherry blossoms in person ever since! A friend (whose cat happens to be named Fuji) and I made a pact at the beginning of the year to visit Japan together by 2024.

How much fun would it be to connect in person?! We can do all the things you love and I love, too 💞

Yesterday, I realized I hadn’t yet allowed myself the joy of swimming in a lake this summer! So, I decided that was what the day called for… and that for the rest of the summer, it is a priority to swim in a lake at least one time per week. It changes everything.
